Bosham

Bosham, just outside Chichester is mentioned on the Bayeux Tapestry. The road floods every day at high tide & cars regularly get stranded here.

Kensington Palace

This was a fascinating place to visit to learn more about Queen Victoria's early days here. It was also interesting to see the controversial Princess Diana's statue in the sunken gardens.

Lincolnshire

We had a fabulous few days in Louth, Lincolnshire. The visit to the beach was cold but the rest of the time was very warm & enjoyable.

RHS Wisley Gardens

George Fergusson Wilson bought the original Wisley site in 1878 & on it established the Oakwood Experimental Garden. Then in 1903 Sir Thomas Hanbury purchased the site along with Glebe farm & presented the 60 acres of freehold to the RHS.
